ROYAELX WIRE ROPE 5B series compounds are formulated using special grades of bitumen, compounded with mineral oil to get desired viscosity. This series has extremely good adhesion to metals and forms a tenacious film which does not creep out under boundary conditions. This series possess mild EP properties, have excellent water repellence and is non corrosive to most of the metals, including copper. It meets IS: 9554-1996 specification.
